Moroccan Rub

Moroccan Rub 

This rub is great for any type of meat. Rub on your favourite roast, BBQ meat, chickpea dish or even use to make Moroccan meatballs.

Serves 2 (500g of meat)

Ingredients 

3 garlic cloves

1 Tbsp grated ginger

1 tbsp orange zest

1 red chilli deseeded

2 tsp ground cumin

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp chipotle chilli powder (optional)

handful of mint, coriander and/or parsley

 

Directions 

  1. combine all ingredients in a mortar & pestle or food processor.
  2. Use rub on favourite meat or check out my Moroccan Chickpea recipe here

Hints & Tips- if using the rub for meat be sure to coat your meat in Coconut oil if cooking at a high temp before adding the rub to your protein.
